WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Young Clapham is a consortium formed of 5 individual organisations funded by The Young Lambeth Cooperative (TYLC) to deliver youth provision in the Clapham Locality. TYLC is a membership organisation set up as a partnership by young people, community members and Lambeth Council to revolutionise the way services for young people are chosen and run.

INDIVIDUAL ORGANISATIONS

Under 11's

1.Opportunities to play outdoors (particularly aspects of adventurous play in green spaces)

2.Increased life and cultural experiences that lead to broader horizons
Over 11's
3. Develop independence and life skills

4. Develop emotional resilience – particularly dealing with stress associated with school/ college and family issues
Young Clapham AMBASSADORS
​
aims :
- develop interpersonal skills (set two goal to achieve throughout their course).
-get an understanding of youth work delivered by young clapham - impact other than young people in and around their community.
- develop leadership skills
integrate with young people from different areas.
- make decisions that will positively impact the consortium (by sharing ideas and opinions). ambassadors will have the freedom to create the programme they feel will most benefit their needs.
ambassadors serve a 6-8 month term depending on the tasks/course designed for them to complete. new ambassadors are recruited each year to undertake the programme.
